Probably not. The other tag you can play with is ALBUMARTIST, but I doubt that it will help. I tend to avoid all the name variations of bands, particularly with jazz performers, as it can be endless. I would just tag those albums: ALBUM=Caravan ARTIST=Art Blakey ARTISTSORT=Blakey, Art ALBUM=Art Blakey with Thelonious Monk ARTIST=Art Blakey ARTIST=Thelonious Monk Avoid ARTISTSORT when you have more than one ARTIST tag. If you have any other Art Blakey or Thelonious Monk albums with an ARTISTSORT tag, then the sorting will be taken care of. Try the above. What see for the second album should be: Art Blakey with Theolonious Monk by Art Blakey, Thelonious Monk In the browse by artist lising the album should be shown under _both_ artists. In the browse by album listing, if sorting by artist it will show up in one place or the other in the sort order, usually with the first artist alphabetically. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34063 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
