I'm confused, not least because I stayed in bed too long thismorning so
am a bit dim witted today. I'm looking at setup and ripping directions
from http://www.olate.co.uk/articles/35 I did a couple of rips a while
back but can not afford any further delay and want to now start ripping
my library (I don't have an SB or transporter yet as I'm moving country
soon to either 230v or 120v system ... will find out which in the next
few weeks).
Olate recommends using “LAME MP3 Encoder” for external compression, and
then in 'additional command line options' there are 3 options possible:
"alt-preset extreme" is said to give a little more 192. I'm now
confused given what you have said above. If I have confused 2 separate
things here, I assume that if I want the best possible recording I
should use "alt-preset insane" = 320kbps CBR?
