TDRC is a subset of an ISO standard date format (ISO 8601 I think,
OTTOMH). YYYY is valid.

Irrelevant; TDRC is explicitly defined to be a particular format. Also,
I'm pretty sure that there are no recordings from any year that had 3
digits.
