You just place a shortcut to your external music folder under the music folder in the internal drive. I've never seen Vista, but in Windows XP it works like this: 1. Go to My Computer and double click on your external drive. 2. Find the folder containing your music, and right-click on it 3. Select "Copy" 4. Go to the music folder on your internal drive and double click on it 5. Right click again, and select "Paste shortcut" 6. Tell Slimserver to rescan your music. The contents of the external drive will be included.
