Hi, I've started to rip CDs in FLAC format with EAC following the tutorial from wiki page
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?EACInstall I think the only option I changed was the bitrate because I didn't understand why it was 192 kbps only. So I put it at 768 kbps or somthing like that. Anyway I checked after from SB3 the tag option and it is usually between 800 & 900 kbps. My 1st question is what's the point with this bitrate setting for a non lossy format ? and what 's the confidence (followed by a number) comment at the end of a rip from the "status and error" window ?
