Hi, all.

I've recently bought an SB3 and got it working with CDs ripped to FLAC
using EAC without much difficulty. I haven't ripped much yet because
I'm dithering over whether I should stay with my existing old DVD
drive, build a PC music server, or buy a Mac.

Anyway, I have just finished building a Hagtech "Ripper" for ripping
LPs to hard disc using Audicity. I ripped my first LP to WAV last night
without difficulty. However, instead of counting my blessings and
stopping while I was ahead, I decided to continue with Hagtech's
instructions and set up Foobar (with ASIO) for replay. This was
successful, but along the way something seems to have disabled my SB.
Although the SB shows the correct details on its GUI, all it produces
is noise (like white noise).

I'm new to all this, but I'm guessing that it's something to do with
the kmixer issue that ASIO works around. I need to find a way to get
the SB working again. I'll then stick to using using EAC for CDs,
Audicity for LPs, and Slimserver/SB for playback.

Can anyone help with now I undo this problem? All contributions
gratefully received!
