Before you go any further: the problem is almost certainly nothing to do with kmixer, ASIO, or anything else in the Windows audio system. The data streamed to an SB is just that: data sent over TCP/IP. It doesn't go anywhere near the Windows audio system on its way out.
My guess is that perhaps you've recorded your WAV files in a format that is not supported by the SB.
