OK... you didn't say that.

BTW, NORMALIZING doesn't really do anything EXCEPT look for the peak in
your program material then increase the entire track to bring that peak
up to 0dBFS, or wherever you want it.  If your peak is 10dB above the
average program level, that 10dB difference will still be there but the
PEAK will approach full scale.

Normalization DOES CHANGE THE FILE!!  iVolume only changes information
in the TAG info of the file so that SlimServer (or iTunes) turns the
volume up or down by that amount.  The file data isn't touched.
