I've already moved my ripping operations to my linux machine, and I'm preparing to move the encoding phase to linux. I've noticed that Synaptic Package Manager is still offering FLAC 1.1.4 as the latest version. I understand that I can bypass it and load a newer FLAC on my own, but shouldn't I point this oversight out to someone so everyone in the Ubuntu community can benefit from the newer version of FLAC? Who should I tell?
