Option 1 does track gain but not album gain. Option 2 does track gain and will treat the entire set of files as 1 album for setting the album gain tag, so it is appropriate if you have selected a single album. Option 3 does track gain and reads the tags to determine which tracks make up an album, then sets the album gain tag by album.
