C2 does not introduce errors, it is an error detection method. Now a program like EAC which relies on C2 alone if it is switched on can be suspectable to missing errors, because it is not doing the secure re-reads. dBpoweramp uses c2 in addition to all the secure reading, so in dBpoweramp c2 helps and should be used if supported.
