But it's the newcomer, and it costs *money*! Anyway, I'll have to give it a try. I've actually switched to macs at home, but have been a longtime EAC user and had resigned myself to ripping via Windows anyway. Only question is, which drive (built in one on my macbook or mac mini, or my Plextor PX-708 in an external drive) and the question of whether going through a virtual machine (VMWare Fusion in my case) means problems in any case. (Or do I take my PX-708 to work and rip there on my second machine?). When all is said and done, my ears are the final quality test, but as I've said I want to rip 'proper' once and for all, hence the hesitation.
