Hello, I'm new to this so may be asking the same question as others, but I have looked through the forums.
I have just bought a SB3 and have been transferring my music across which is going ok. The sound quality is great and I'm having no problems with my albums by specific artists. Where I am having problems is with my compilation albums. None of the albums are showing up under Various Artists either when searching by Genre or Artist. I can find the albums through the Music Folder menu and under the album listings but I would like to be able to find them under Various Artists when say browsing Genre. I've had a look at the tags in Media Player and the advance tag editor shows an Artist tag (say Tina Turner) and an Album tag (various artists). It seems to be the Artist tag that shows. i.e. I can find the compilation album under Tina Turner, but not under Various Artists. Various Artists just shows as empty>.
