It should work fine so long as 1) the ALBUM tag is different between the discs OR 2) the album name is identical but the DISC tag is set for the albums (e.g. 1/2 and 2/2).
Compilation albums have always worked flawlessly for me, but others have problems, so give it a try and let us know if you still get any problems. Personally, I find most problems can be solved by removing the ALBUMARTIST tag entirely and adding a COMPILATION=1 tag to various artist albums (however, I don't use my music library on a portable player or anything else that needs an ALBUMARTIST tag, so this solution may not suit you best). -- Siduhe Who am I on 'LAST.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/siduhe)?
