iTunes is not tagging your files in anyway, as they're wav. Instead it's storing the info you entered in its own database, the itunes libary.itl file
Have you selected the "use iTunes" tab in SC? If so, I don't know if SC can pick up this faux-tag info from there, I suspect not (I would think it's only used to point SC to the files themselves) The best way to use wav with SC is to standardise (and I mean totally, no deviations) the filename artist-album-track number-track title-genre-year.extension e.g. The Beatles-Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band-01-Sgt Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band-Rock-1967.mp3 which would enable SC to scan all of your files, and create its own database of your files. You tell SC how untagged (as your wav files are) files should be handled in the guess tags setting. -- moley6knipe Win XP Pro SP3 > dBpoweramp Reference 13.1 > SqueezeCenter 7.2.1 > Squeezebox 3 > ears ------------------------------------------------------------------------ moley6knipe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10014 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55599 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
