I disconnected all the optical drives and the rebooting keeps
happening.  A prior computer developed the same problem several years
ago, resulting in my purchase of the current one.  I guess I'll just
have to give in and get another.  Grumble.  If I didn't need Quicken,
I'd probably just dump Windows and go all Ubuntu.

I suspect the problem is software and not hardware.  CHKDSK is happy
and MEMTEST didn't report any problems.  It appears to be more stable
if I don't log on, though not 100%.

Grumble.
