All else being equal, which lossless format is better for Slimdevices products overall between ALAC and WMA Lossless? I'm concerned with SC, transcoding on the fly, requirements of the server (sw such as Quicktime), etc. No need to bring up other formats such as FLAC, etc., or advantages of iTunes vs. Media Player. I'm kind of stuck with one of these 2 file format options for the scenario I'm faced with.
