winamp does autotagging and its free. it uses the CDDB aka Gracenote. i would retag album by album... u can't trust any app or DB.
i'm not sure if the AMG db is gracenote or different, but i'd guess very similar. for album art, use WMP. just set it to "only add missing info" and monitor your music folder. whatever it doesn't get, u can then do manually.
