I thought I had too many playlists with about a hundred, I can't imagine 700! I didn't delete the really big ones yet. The small ones I have already re-done. I went in and edited them all to change the drive letter and that fixed about one third of them, but only made one to four songs or none show up in the playlist window on the ones still broken. All the playlists show up, but the big ones are empty with the exception of a few songs showing up in some while opening the dot m3u file shows all the songs. I think we ran a script against them with no results, can't remember. The machine is XP SP3. Its my Beta testing Machine running SC 7.4.25049 as my main library is on my Linux Ubuntu box running SC 7.3.2. But it would be nice to have them back again so it's worth a try and they are all in one directory anyway so grep is worth a quick try. Some of the songs should be missing as they are only on the Ubuntu server which is not connected by network to the XP and all other household PCs network. I guess my big question is if I used an editor to edit the drive letters already, what could I have missed that I should use as a string with grep? -- iPhone *iPhone* 'Last.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/mephone) Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, Vandersteen Quatro, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: SB3, GFR-700HD, Thiel 2.3, Second Boom Home Office: SB3, NAD C370, two VSM-1 Home Gym: SB3, Parasound Vamp v.3, Thiel PowerPoint 1.2 Mobile: SB3, Audioengine A5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60272
