Thanks for the replies. Philip Meyer;440931 Wrote: > You should be able to do that. In Foobar Settings > Tools > ReplayGain > scanner, you can enter an album grouping pattern. Thanks. I did not know that. I will try to figure out what pattern will work. MeSue;440941 Wrote: > J. One big issue is that the software does not read multiple ARTIST and COMPOSER tags (Vorbis comments) in flac files - It only reads the first tag. I cannot manage the music library as I want with a tool that can display only part of the essential information. I have asked in the J. River forum for a workaround, but I have so far not received any suggestions that work (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=52920.0). I might buy the software anyway after the trial period for its abilities to sort and handle tagging on mp3 files. The most difficult thing seems to be to find a music managing software that can handle multiple tags (Vorbis comments) in flac files. Foobar seems at least able to read such data so maybe I will have to try to learn how to configure Foobar. Does anyone know of any other software that can handle multiple tags? A workaround would be a software that can import the SC database, because SC reads the tags the way I want (I already know of muso and Moose). -- vagskal _____________________________ 2 x SB3 (wired), Receiver (wireless), Boom (wireless), Controller, iPeng on iPod Touch, muso on remote computer Win XP | 7.3.4 on Win XP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vagskal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20778 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65604 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
