I don't think so, but I could be wrong. Generally, setting an ALBUMARTIST will keep SC from considering the album as a compilation. If you also set COMPILATION=1 that may override it. If you set ALBUMARTIST=Various Artists and don't add the COMPILATION tag, I think it will be seen as a non-compilation. Sounds like you've already done this, so you can see for yourself by browsing Artists > Various Artists and going into one of the albums. On the track listing page, at the top where it lists Album, Year and Duration, it will also show 'Compilation: Yes' for any compilation album. This line will be missing from any non-compilation and it will also display an Artist (and possibly an Album Artist). Keep in mind that SC also has the ability to change the string used for 'Various Artists'. Under Settings > Music Library (Settings > My Music in 7.4) there's a setting: When compilation albums are grouped together, they appear under "Various Artists" by default.
