In my case, I soon decided that I had no need to ever hear the 1987 versions again, except for PPM, WTB, HDN, BFS and Past Masters. I'm still undecided about those new stereo mixes, so I renamed those 1987 Albums with (Mono) appended to their name. I deleted the rest.
Generally I won't keep multiple remastered versions of the same album in my library for very long, as: 1) it can mess up random mix selections 2) I always ultimately prefer one version and then never really want to hear the others 3) it distorts my "Year" stats. However, if I was collecting the versions rather than the songs, I'd do as the others and append with "1987 Remaster", "2009 Remaster" etc -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
