DBP supports AccurateRip, which I believe MM does not. AccurateRip
doesn't necessarily improve quality, but it does improve confidence - it
compares your rip results with a database of other people's rips - if
you got the same as everyone else then it's probably right. EAC also
supports AccurateRip, and as far as I'm concerned is the most sensible
choice for a ripper other than DBP. 

The other stuff DBP has as advantages are mainly cosmetic/convenience -
the meta data is much better, and things like automated art downloading
are nice (and not included in EAC). It's also very flexible if you want
to start tinkering.
