Do you have any squeezeboxes?  The best way to figure out a lot of
things is to simply experiment. Create a file with nonASCII and see if
it will read it, for example.  Even if you don't have the hardware, just
download the free software, download squeezeplay or squeezesoft (a PC
based player), also free, and play around with it. Although do keep in
mind that many things actually work BETTER on the hardware as compared
with squeezeplay or squeezesoft.
