Audiomuze, Thanks for the help, but what I am trying to do at the moment is make sure all the artists are shown including those on compilations, so I currently have the "List Compilation Albums Under Each Artist" actually set.
However, it looks like my problem is that as far as SqueezeCenter is concerned, my albums are not compilations because the TPE2 (that I am using as Album Artist) is set for all tracks. Now I can see that if I add the appropriate tag for COMPILATION=1 to a track that could solve my problem, and I will test that next... i.e. all my tracks would appear by their artists as well as Various Artists. However, will they also show up under the TPE2 tag if that tag is not Various Artists (e.g. my John Lennon example earlier)? Second, If I have an album that has all tracks by an artist (a TPE2 artist is the same for all tracks), but there is a guest artist on one track (and perhaps this is the only track by that guest artist in my library) will that guest artist show up in the artists lists on their own? I wouldn't want to set a compilation tag for such an album since it really isn't a compilation. As an aside, I see a lot of discussion about setting an ALBUMARTIST tag as opposed or in addition to using the TPE2 tag.
