thank you both for your fast replies. yes, cue sheets seem to be exactly what I had hoped for. I have used them before and there won't be a problem creating them.
Browsing the forum threads I noticed that some users maybe had a problem with the tracks showing up double, once from the tracks proper and once from the cue sheet. I'll do many tests along the way, obviously, but with all your knowledge, asking first seems logical: Is that going to happen? Will separating the cue files from the tracks resolve the issue, if there actually is one?
