I tried with my dell and my next laptop an IBM they where abysmal. Now i have an Lenovo. I'll yet have to try that one, maybe next time I'm out of town working, and buys a CD .
I tried to get EAC running on those machines, maybe EAC is old fashioned and picky and expect real drives ? Anyway i have ripped most CD's on my dirt cheap TSST (samsung) Drive and had no problems, but lately I had used my HP DVD burner in the same machine. I think the TSST is giving up soon. Can you wear out a DVD drive in your PC ? As i have ripped my collection twice in many cases I have done around 2000 rips with that drive ? -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: SB3 (soon to replaced by a Touch :) It is on preorder) Bedroom/Office: Boom Kitchen: Receiver (soon to be replaced by my SB3 and the SBR to be stuffed in a box in the attic ) I use a Controller various ir-remotes and a Eee-PC with squeezeplay to control this ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73864 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
