I'm in the process of learning how to rip and tag as well as learning how to use EAC and mp3tag. I've successfully done TWO. Only 798 to go; 800 if the first two need to be fixed.
The "Beginners Guide to Classical" music is a great reference but there's something in there I'm curious about. In the Simple Recommendations section, it is suggested that the artist tag be used to identify the composer. I would expect the artist tag to be used for the soloist and/or group and the composer tag be used for, well, the composer. That would seem to me to be the simplest method. What am I missing? Keep in mind that I have yet to even see the Squeeze software.
