Can you describe what your "ripping process" currently is? Most rippers are able to find most of the tagging information off of online databases. I use EAC (exact audio copy) for ripping, and it is usually able to get the Album, Artist and Track information from freedb. Unfortunately EAC doesn't handle the album art, so I usually download that manually as the CD is being ripped. I believe dbpoweramp is able to get album tag information from additional sources, and also handles album art. I also use mp3tag for tag "cleanup" if necessary, and use Foobar2000 to add replaygain tags (these are used to adjust the volume setting between albums and/or tracks to adjust for difference in volume - useful if you are playing songs from various albums in a playlist).
