Hi, Many thanks for the quick and comprehensive replies. I think I will use dbPowerAmp and to create my FLAC files on my main server (which is an old laptop).
I will then run iTunes on my day-to-day laptop and just rip again directly into iTunes as it's pretty quick and then use this as a source for my phone / iPods etc. Cheers.
