...I guess. I am using dbpoweramp as well, and my computer has two different drives. I found that I sometimes have CDs where one or more tracks can't be ripped accurately in one of the drives, but that the other drives rip will match the accurate rip checksums (the second drive being a now extinct LG Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo drive, which I'm only using in these cases for CDs to avoid additional wear and tear).
I also found that the two drives are quite different in their ability of the to read scratched discs correctly.
