The files that are in question are flac, and I used MediaMonkey to do most tagging. Here's how things are set up under Options->Library->Tags & Playlists: Tags: Store MP3 file properties using: ID3v1 and v2 tags ID3v2 text encoding: ASCII + UTF-16 (when needed) Update tags when editing properties (checked) Modify timestamp when updating tags (checked) I hope that answers your questions.
