Hi there. Just joined! I wondered if anyone can clarify confusion over filetypes??
I have lots of albums - probably 500+. Many are ripped to MP3 and I have played them with Windows Media Player. Now invested in Squeezebox receivers for each room, a SB radio, Squeezeplay on PC in my little study/music room. I can play MP3's, WMA and FLAC's on the receivers. SQUEEZEPLAY won't play a lot of my MP3's - any clue why please? I am going through converting all albums to FLAC to get best quality - but I have considered just going with WAV files. However 1) not sure if WAV's are supported by SBS? by Squeezeplayer? 2) IS album art and track info supported with WAV files? I reckon FLAC's is the way to go, but interested to hear what others think about this?? Best Wishes!!
