The WMA decoder is proprietary and so is only included in the hardware based Squeezeplay players. So to play WMA file/streams on software Squeezeplay you need an SBS system that can transcode WMA.
On Windows based SBS the transcoder is included as WMA decoding libraries are standard on Windows.
