I think there is an important thing with regard to mixing tag types and identification of multiple tag types: Mp3tag and probably Puddletag are only going to show the multiple tag types if the tags are present correctly (i.e. not corrupted).
If the tags are corrupted, the tagger may not show those specific tags and it may not be able to remove them either. I think this is where the cut and paste option works. Cutting removes all tags and starts you off with a clean header and metadata. Of course, we won't know that is your problem, but it seems likely given Audiomuze's suggestion and the fact that his process is working. That being said, it is probably more important to track the cause of your problem. I'd especially focus on new rips. Running Linux and being removed from your EAC workflow, I wouldn't worry about how your EAC files got to where they are at. I would, however, try to find out what is going on now to get the behavior you see. -- emalvick ------------------------------------------------------------------------ emalvick's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35382 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93204 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
