hi all,

I've ripped one of those multi-CD sets, which consist of more than one
album per CD. That results in a single FLAC+CUE, for e.g. two albums.

I'm trying to use separate CUE files (pointing to the single FLAC file),
in separate directories, to encourage LMS to present them as two
separate albums. I don't want to split the FLAC physically, for various
reasons (e.g. checksums, AR, etc).

I have it mostly working, but two questions remain:

- as well as entries for both the CUE files, I'm getting an entry for
the FLAC file itself. Presumably that will go away if I remove the
Vorbis comment tags from the FLAC file, and I can use solely the CUE
files?

- How do I deal with the "last track" problem? It seems that CUE files
only mark the start of a track. Since I'm trying to present an album
whose last track is not the last track in the FLAC file, I end up with a
last track that is 30 minutes long and contains both the last track of
the first album and then all of the second album.

At the moment, I'm dealing with the last track issue by appending a
DUMMY track. that doesn't really solve the problem, but it does at least
make the last real track have the right length. But I end up then with
one track too many, of course.

Any ideas how I might avoid that, please?

thanks much indeed.
