It's good to hear that your loving Rivendell.

Is it possible that the time the cart is skipped over there is a soft
time event waiting to be played... so it just skips it...

Perhaps 1 of your 30 cut adds has something funny about the cut
makers... perhaps the start and stop makers are sitting within half a
second of each other inside their cut... and when say cut 20 or
whatever number it is plays for half a second or so and then goes to
the next event.
