seems that the best option for this laptop is suse 11.1, anybody have a tutorial on compiling rivendell 2.0.2 on this?
Sorry Geoff, I did not try the "live" code, just the install. I will probably try it after I get it to work on suse11.1 --- On Thu, 9/8/11, Geoff Barkman <[email protected]> wrote: From: Geoff Barkman <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [RDD] install on laptop To: "User discussion about the Rivendell Radio Automation System" <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, September 8, 2011, 4:24 PM the error message that you are getting sounds like the upstart problem. I think Frederick Henderson candidate up with a solution to that. How did rrabuntu behave on the live code? Frederick has instructions on his blog. Always thought xp was much better. I have 11.04 on a desktop and it works fine except that it keeps disconnecting my wifi, Don't know if it's a wifi adpater problem or 11.04 problem. --- On Thu, 9/8/11, VE4PER/Andy <[email protected]> wrote: From: VE4PER/Andy <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [RDD] install on laptop To: "User discussion about the Rivendell Radio Automation System" <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, September 8, 2011, 3:42 PM > > The Centos appliance will wipe the HD clean to do the install, suspect this > will include the To...-----Inline Attachment Follows----- > > _______________________________________________ > Rivendell-dev mailing list > Rivendell-dev@li... _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
