Hi Samuel,
I downloaded your appliance and while it runs fine from the live cd, when I
install to the hard drive, it doesn't let me go farther than the login screen.
Although I enter the username and password I created while installing it keeps
saying that it's the wrong user name and password.

seems that the best option for this laptop is suse 11.1, anybody have a
tutorial on compiling rivendell 2.0.2 on this?

Hi Jorge

One of my machines is a Toshiba L300 (Intel 3Gb Ram)

Actually it works like a charm with ubuntu 10.04 but worked also with
debian, ubuntu since 8.04, and LinuxMint

You can take a look at my instructions for compiling under Debian here :

http://rivendell.tryphon.org/wiki/Installing_Rivendell_2.02_on_Debian_and_Create_a_Debian_package

I have also an appliance (the result of this wiki page made with
remastersys) but it's in french (I'm working on an in english version
actually)

Of course, you can setup the OS for any other language

Sam
