All the networks I deal with are extremely picky about "time shifting" and in many cases it's forbidden for us to record their content in any way including time shifting. But yay for the short songs, in our case Dueling Banjos is common at the end's of hours because it's only 2min long and we also have a large pool of promo cuts to also fill 30 second slots and then we have some 15, 10 and 5 second jingles that we can pick from to fill even shorter holes. I can fill a 2:45 hole with a 2min song, a single promo and then a jingle right before the top of the hour and nail it.
