Sort of.

If you set up a log with autorefresh enabled, then when that log is
loaded, any changes made on another computer to that log will be updated
in rdairplay. It's not a perfect linked state system, but it means you
can change the next track without having to go in there just using
rdlogedit in the production machine (you could also use rdairplay in
production but that may lead to issues, I don't know). There's an option
under service configuration for automatically setting the autorefresh
flag on new logs.

Cheers,
James Harrison

thought about the same thing. We are currently using Prophet but will go
LIVE with RD in the next couple of days. I was able to share folders
with our production computer over our network (Windows) and then set up
some Dropboxes on the RD machine to drop weather, music, etc. So far it
has worked good but I'm such a newbie. I'm looking forward to the
reply's from others on this as we'd be interested in this approach as well.

Computer (My Main On-Air Machine) and A Production Computer. I have
heard that you can set this up and you are able to edit logs and other
things like that. My question is, can you setup Rivendell to have the
Server Computer and the production computer have a linked/mirrored
rdairplay screen. So If I were to change something on the production
computer, It would immediately change it on the Server Computer (Main
On-Air Machine). If you are familiar with Prophet or NexGen Digital, you
would know what I am talking about. This would really be a great thing
If I could do this.
