I'm also interested in remote voice tracking.

Speaking of Nexgen (RCS now isn't it?), the last time I played with Master Control I think the newer version compresses the audio or something for remote voice tracking over the Internet. But I wonder what Rivendell would do if the connection suddenly was lost or how it would handle congestion/latency when trying to play audio over the Internet to a workstation rather than just on a LAN?

Gavin.

I wish that I could get this to work. I have vnc setup but I would like to be able to see the rdairplay screen on a workstation computer. If anyone has ever used Prophets - Player101 or Nexgen Digital, you would know what I mean. I also have another question. If I have a studio computer, at the studio and my laptop at my house, If I setup rivendell on my laptop and link it to the studio database, could I use hamachi as my vpn and do "remote voice tracking"?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to have a Rivendell Server
Computer (My Main On-Air Machine) and A Production Computer. I
have heard that you can set this up and you are able to edit logs
and other things like that. My question is, can you setup
Rivendell to have the Server Computer and the production computer
have a linked/mirrored rdairplay screen. So If I were to change
something on the production computer, It would immediately change
it on the Server Computer (Main On-Air Machine). If you
are familiar with Prophet or NexGen Digital, you would know what I
am talking about. This would really be a great thing If I could do
    this.

    Thanks!
