Hi,

I'm not a linux shell expert so I'm not sure if the vino server will
continue to run after the ssh session has ended. However you can
"restart" the vino service by issuing a killall vino-server followed by
/usr/lib/vino/vino-server &

Maybe starting vino-server using screen would work?

Oh this was tested under Ubuntu 10.04 not sure if the vino location is the
same on Debian or not. As an aside Vino is rubbish with fast screen
updates and has kind of crashed on me several times. I've read a lot
about using tightvnc which is supposed to be better but I never got around
to setting it up.

Regards,

Wayne
