Perfect and thanks! This is shaping up to be a great replacement for our Simian
net catcher once I get a little more configuring done. It truly is remarkable
software!

One question I have is whether you recommend doing the regular centos updates
following installation of the appliance iso. Looks like sample rate conversion
is not working on the rdcatch uploads in the appliance version. It is working
on an older version I am running on suse 10.2. Wondering if it is a sox issue?
I tried reinstalling the original sox that comes with the appliance iso that I
downloaded yesterday (which is sox-12.18.1-1.x86_64.rpm) which downgraded the
version that comes with the centos automatic updates that installed after I
installed the appliance version, but and the samplerate of the uploaded file
stayed at 48000 even though I set the rdcatch upload rate option to be 44100.
Guess I could globally set the system s/r to 44100 to maybe solve the issue in
the meantime or maybe there is something funny with my installation or
hardware. Can anyone else verify whether the sample rate conversion might not
be working on rdcatch uploads using the appliance version al
ong with whatever updates centos installs? Maybe I should just reinstall the
appliance iso and not run the centos updates and see if s/r conversion on
uploads works then, but I'm afraid I'd be spinning my wheels and have the same
problem if I was to do that. Anyone else notice anything?
