This is on two different identical computers - both of them running
Ubuntu 10.04.

One of them is running Rivendell 1.7.2 and the other one is a "ground
zero" install of Ubuntu 10.04 with Rivendell 2.1.4

The rd.conf file was the first place I looked, which has the rate set to
44100.

============

Is this system an upgrade from an old version of Riv? There used to be
a
sample rate setting inside rd.conf that I don't think is used any more.
