Well, fine, but if the *final analog output system* isn't reproducing that
-20dbFS as 0VU analog (be that -10dBV or +4dbU -- and careful: two different
references; those levels are *not* 14dB apart), but is reproducing it as
-20VU, then the people who made the player's supporting hardware screwed
up.
Badly.
This isn't nearly as annoying as broadcasters and DVD authors who can't
get Aspect Ratio right, but you really don't want to get me started on
that... ("Somebody is *wrong* on the internet!" :-)
