Quoting "Pedro Picoto (TSF/tec)" <[email protected]>:

I'm a Linux noob. It's been a full week install/uninstall of Rivendell on several OS. The worsten, at leat for me, was Debian and CentOS, mainly due to hardware issues (d-link usb dongle not detected).
Running now in an apparent stable/easy to tweak OS: Ubuntu 12.04 lts.

We have been running Rivendell 2.0.2 on several machines with Ubuntu 11.04, 11.10 and 12.04 for almost two years and it has worked very well. The machine running RdAirPlay actually ran continuously for a year and a half until there was an I/O error on the disk drive:

 16:23:30 up 529 days, 2:14, 1 user, load average: 0.01, 0.16, 0.16

I did discover something last week when I tried to install Rivendell on a machine with Ubuntu 12.10, apparently it no longer has the qt3 libraries.
