Although I haven't installed it alongside Windows, I am *assuming* you
want to do this for testing purposes...
I have installed it in a VM using Virtualbox under Windows and it works
great. I too ran into the "not enough hard drive space issue", and I
ended up upgrading my hard drive, but later I believe Mr. Gleason said
you could work around that problem by selecting manual layout and
setting up your own partitioning scheme during appliance install.
Hope this helps,

Hi, all.
Has anyone installed the Rivendell Appliance alongside Windows?
I have a PC with Win7 installed. The Windows disk manager shows there
are two primary partitions: Windows "System Reserved" and the C: disk.
There is also a 150G unallocated area following those partitions.
When I run the Appliance 2 install, it complains that there is not
enough room on the disk. I doubt that it needs 150G to install, so I
assume it wants something specific in the disk layout. Any
suggestions? Or is this possible at all?
Thanks,
Mike Carroll
