 I would recommend AGAINST dual-boot, especially in your case.

 Pick a base OS, then install virtualbox in that.

 Install the other ( less used ) OS in virtualbox.

 I used to recommend VMWare, but I find virtualbox works fine
 with most OS.
 It does Win9x but poorly. There's a special VESA driver out there to
 enable Win9x to work at something more that a 240x3?? resolution.
 I've had a bit of trouble with QNX also, but for running recent popular
 OS, windows anything including and subsequent to XP, it's fine.
