Assuming that you name the new machine with the same name as the old one.for example, if the original machine was "air", and the new installation is "air" And you are still using raabuntu on both, same version Copy all files to the external drive, them make a backup in RDAdmin, also copy that to the external drive Simply put the files from the original /var/snd in the new /var/snd.. Then do the restore from the backup. Done. I have used RDImport before (moving from Scott to Riv.) but I don't get how to do an import of the Rivendell carts into a Rivendell system. Any tips on what my command Line should look like?
